On November 8th, hosted by CCTV, the 5th CCTV "Bank of Communications Cup" Dance Contest concluded successfully. The dance "Chinese Mother" from School of Music of NENU received the Silver Medal in Group Dancing, which marked a breakthrough for NENU in CCTV Dance Contest. "Chinese Mother" also won the first prize among the Top Ten Creative Outstanding Works, which was a newly established award in the contest. Among all the other dances from comprehensive universities, this dance was the only prize winner in the contest.
