On December 8th, NENU held the 2009 working conference on off-campus learning centers for modern distance education. The meeting was attended by personnel concerned from NENU, Department of Education in Jilin Province and the Higher Education Bureau of Ministry of Education. NENU's Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi, Vice President Liu Yichun, and Sun Hejuan, Deputy Director-General of Department of Education in Jilin Province were present. Presented at the conference were also 130 representatives from 63 off-campus learning centers in 19 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
The conference promotes the communication and also deepens the cooperation between NENU and the off-campus learning centers.
