Recently, 7 works of teachers and students from School of Fine Arts of NENU were selected in the ninth National Watercolor and Pastel Exhibitions. Works of teacher Wang Hui entered into the nominee list for the Chinese Fine Arts Prize--- the highest prize in Fine Arts. It was directly selected into the 12th national fine arts exhibition area. Works of teachers Yin Xiaofeng and Li Jing got the outstanding work prize. Works of teachers Xiao Ming, Wang Hongzhang and Li Shuchun, and student Yuan Yuan were admitted into the exhibition list.
National Watercolor and Pastel Exhibitions are the most professional exhibitions with the largest influence in the fields of watercolor and pastel. This year's exhibition is hosted by Chinese Artists Association and People's Government of Ningbo. Altogether more than 3200 works have been selected, among which more than 490 entered into the final selection.
