At 8 o'clock, the 47th track and field meet of NENU was held on September 30. It was held when all the students and teachers were celebrating the 61st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 10th anniversary of the founding of Jing Yue campus of NENU. The opening ceremony was presided over by Vice-president Zhang Zhiguo and the torch was lighted on the opening ceremony.
Altogether 19 schools of NENU competed in all kinds of projects of this sports meet. At last, School of Education Science got the first prize in group A. Sports training major of 2010, 2009 and 2008 were the first three in group B. Vice party secretary and vice-president Yang Xiaohui presided over the closing ceremony.
