Recently, hosted by the School of Chinese Language and Literature and the Chinese Poem Research Center of Capital Normal University, co-hosted by the school of Chinese Ethnic Language and literature of Central University for Nationalities, and the capital international culture base of Beijing Language and Culture University, “the Memorial of Yang Gongji's 90th Birthday―Chinese Classical Literature Seminar” was held in Beijing. More than 50 experts and scholars from famous universities and research organizations at home and abroad, and the students and relatives of Yang Gongji gathered to memorize and pay homage to him sincerely.
In the commemoration, deputy secretary of the party committee, Ma Shang addressed the seminar on behalf of NENU. In the following seminar, student representatives of Yang Gongji had productive discussions and exchanges centering on his life story, academic achievements and the inheritance of his academic heritages.
