The 9th national dance competition was held in recent days, and the group dance work "Nanjing•lightness" of School of Music in NENU won the performance gold award. This is the third time that the works of NENU won the highest price in Chinese dancing competition after the performance gold award in 2007 and the special award in 2009.
The national dance competition, as the top-level competition in the field of dance art, is held biennially by Ministry of Culture. 694 works from the whole country participated in the competition, with 174 of them entering the finals, including 87 group dance works.
