"U.S. Soft Power & Social Equality: An International Symposium"Held in NENU

Recently, "U.S. Soft Power & Social Equality: An International Symposium" was held in NENU. It was also the 8th Annual American Studies Network Conference co-sponsored by the US-China Education Trust, NENU's Institute of American Studies and Center for History of World Civilizations, NENU. More than 80 scholars and graduated students attended the meeting. They were from China, the United States, Britain, Germany, South Korea, Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Philippines.
Panel sessions highlighted discussions on theoretical studies on soft power, U.S. foreign policy and soft power, US soft power and social equality, and US policy as a factor in social equality. Keynote speakers included Wang Xi, Professor of History, Peking University and Shi Yinhong, Professor of International Relations, Renmin University.
