Recently, the Japanese alumni association of the students of NENU studying in Japan was founded in Tokyo. This is NENU's first alumni association abroad. Sun Jianming, Minister-Counsellor of the Education Department of Chinese Embassy in Japan, together with NENU's president Shi Ningzhong and leaders of Office of Alumni Affairs and Office of International Cooperation and Exchange attended the ceremony. Over 100 NENU alumni in Japan were also present. At the meeting, the organization and the members of the first council were announced and the regulations of the alumni association were approved.
