Recently, Gulibaihan Rejiefu, a student from Class1 2011 of School of Education Science of NENU, won the third prize in preparatory universities group in the speech contest themed as "Being Citizens Studying, Understanding and Abiding the Law" which was held among Xinjiang students from national high-class and preparatory universities of cooperation plan. Starting from December, 2011, the contest was co-sponsored by the National Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Education Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
