The Speech contest themed as "the New Youth, the New Lei Feng" was held by Youth League Committee of NENU on March 4th. Twenty students recommended by the schools of NENU attended the contest.
In the contest, contestants gave free expression to their views and feelings on the connotation, stimulation and practice of Lei Feng spirit in the new age for college students. Finally, Li Mao and other two students from School of History and Culture won the first prize, Gong Jimeng and other four students from School of Politics and Law won the second prize and Wang Jie and other eleven students from School of Software were awarded the title of "honorable mention".
