The seminar on "Dancing Phenomenon of NENU" was hosted by the Jilin Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department and NENU, and the new original dancing opera "Fu Sheng" was presented by the Party Committee Publicity Department of NENU and the School of Music on September 19th. At the seminar, experts held heated discussions on the development of art major in universities, the correlation between teaching and art creation, manners and methods of art creation, features of the new "Fu Sheng" and how to improve it.
The Department of Dancing of NENU was established in the year of 2000. Over the past decade, faculty and students created successively a large number of influential art exquisites in the national dancing circle. The works such as "Jin Cheng (Going into the Town)", "Zhongguo Mama (Chinese Mother)", "Han Gong Qiu Yue (Autumn Moon Over Han Palace)", "Nanjing �Liang" won a great many prizes in national competitions of different levels and were highly valued in the circle, which was honored "Dancing Phenomenon of NENU".
"Fu Sheng", one of the original works of the department of dance, was approved as "Major Project Specially Funded as Outstanding Literary and Art Works of Jilin Province" in 2011. After the premiere at the end of 2011, the revised "Fu Sheng" was put on the stage again this May and won wide acclaim and was well received by all sectors of the society.
