The reporting meeting of key project "Research on the Modern Shift of Chinese Aesthetics" was held in Beijing. During the meeting Vice President of NENU Liu Haimin agave a welcome speech by introducing the general situation of social science of philosophy studies in NENU, and said that NENU would spare no efforts to support the launching of the project and, improving the relative studies in NENU. The experts put forward relevant advice and suggestions regarding the basic research content, sub-task design and the form of predicted researching result, and so on. In the end, Zhang Donggang gave a final speech. He affirmed the significance of the project in academic research and its social effect, and hoped that relevant studies would have a breakthrough in the research scope and objectives, lifting the theoretical innovative level in the field of aesthetic research.
