Dancing Work of NENU Awarded in the 8th China "Lotus Award" Competition for Contemporary Dance and Modern Dance

On November 28th, the 8th China "Lotus Award" Competition for Contemporary Dance and Modern Dance came to the end. It was sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Henan Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department and sponsored by Chinese Dancers Association, Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Zhengzhou Municipal Government. The Silver Award went to the dance “Jincheng II ―― Fanxiang (Entering Downtown II ―― Returning)” originated and co-performed by He Huaming, graduate of the Class of 2010, Hong Ailian and Gao Jiayin, both graduates of the Class of 2012.  All of them were from the Department of Dance of the School of Music of NENU. It was not only the first three-person dancing award won by NENU but also the first performance winning Students Original Dance Works Award. Another group-dancing work originated by teachers and students of NENU "Tumen Jiangbian (The Riverside of Tumen)" was one of the top ten dancing works.
