On March, 26th, Vice-Governor Chunli of Jilin Province and Deputy Secretary-General Li Jianhua, accompanied by Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology Mao Jian paid a visit to NENU for field trip. They were warmly received by NENU President Liu Yichun, Vice-President Xue Kang and President Assistant and the Director of Science and Technology Division Feng Jiang.
Gu Chunli and the other companions visited the Vegetation Ecology Key Laboratory of Education Ministry, the Power Battery State-Local Engineering Laboratory, Gene and Protein Screening National Engineering Laboratory, Ultraviolet Light-emitting Materials and Technology Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education, and the Herbarium Laboratory of School of Life and Science, as well as the battery-powered electric train developed by NENU. During the visit, Gu Chunli listened to the brief report by university leaders and other relevant staff. He spoke highly of NENU’s scientific accomplishments and their application to practice, hoping that NENU can make further contribution to the provincial economic and social development.
