Recently, the Ministry of Education officially released the results of the 6th Term’s Prize of Higher School Science Research Outstanding Achievement (Humanities and Social Sciences). Seven achievements of NENU won that honor. Therein “European Medieval Literature Theory (from 5th century AD to late 13th century)” by Professor Liu Jianjun and “From Off-Confucianism to Off-Asianization――Thinking Process of Decentration in Japan since Modern Times” by Professor Han Dongyu won the second prize. At the same time, “Research into National Religious Management System and Policy Research in Ming Dynasty” by Professor Zhao Yifeng, “Surveys and Analyses on Teachers' Professional Knowledge” by Professor Ma Yunpeng, “History of Science and Education in Modern China” by Professor Qu Tiehua, “The Procedural Fairness Discussion on Merging Policy of Rural Schools” by Professor Wu Zhihui and “Research into Ideological Security and Political Values of College Students” by Professor Li Zhongjun won the third prize.
The Prize of Higher School Science Research Outstanding Achievement (Humanities and Social Sciences), originally the China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Research Award for Outstanding Achievements,so far is the highest science research award in the field of humanities and social sciences within China.
