On April 10th, Bai Jinfu, Deputy Director of the Economic Services Bureau, Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, was invited to attend “the Ideological and Theoretical High-end Forum”, in which he made a systematic and profound elaboration on such economic issues with which the majority of teachers and students are keenly concerned as the interpretation of new ideas proposed by CCP for economic development at the 18th Congress and the understanding of China’s current economic situation and policy.
Having been long engaged in economic theory and practical economic problems, Bai Jinfu presided over and participated in more than 40 of the National Social Science Fund major projects and research projects of other types. In the report, through combining his own working practice and research results and by using vivid examples and informative data, Bai Jinfu gave a detailed interpretation of the new ideas of economic development established at the 18th Congress from seven aspects. He also pointed out the various features manifested in the current economic situation, economic trends that relevant policy should focus on and the main tasks confronting the economic development.
The report was cosponsored by Propaganda Department and Organization Department of the Party Committee as well as the Party School of NENU. It is the first report of “the Ideological and Theoretical High-end Forum” during this semester and the fifth report for NENU office level cadre to learn the spirit of the 18th Congress.
