On April 12th, Zhang Mingyu, Vice-director of Publicity Department of CPC Changchun Committee and Yao Li, Director of Division of Arts visited NENU as a field trip, investigating the art development and creation. Ma Shang, Vice-secretary of Party Committee and the relevant representatives from NENU's Publicity Division, School of Music, School of Arts, and School of Media Science received the visiting group.
On the seminar, Zhang Mingyu introduced the background and purpose of this field trip. He said NENU had been dedicating itself to the development of local culture for many years. Especially in recent years, NENU has showed great potential of art creation and played an important role in organizing some big events in Changchun. This field trip aims at better understanding NENU's art development and creation, and promoting cooperation between NENU and the local community. Zhang Mingyu said that the government would make efforts to provide platforms to facilitate the internship and practice of NENU's students majoring in arts. After the meeting, the visiting group watched the dance practice of Nanjing Liang, Hua Yao Hua, The Coat of Antelope, and The Thorn of Flower Geta by students of School of Music, and then visited the Statue Building of School of Arts.
