On April 29th,CUBA in Northeast division launched its 15th matches in NENU.
The opening ceremony was held before the matches began. The attending guests were the FUSC Vice Chairman of the Full-time and the Associated Director of the Organizing Committee Wang Gang, the FUSC Vice Chairman of the Full-time and the Secretary General of the Organizing Committee Wang Xiaoyi, and NENU president Liu Yichun, and so on. Liu Yichun said that CUBA is one of the most influential and energetic sports events held in China's universities. In the past 15 years, this event has become a significant platform for university students to self-display, to realize dreams and to refine team spirits, playing an important role in enhancing students' sports competitive levels, and in promoting sports culture communications among universities. NENU has gradually formed the tradition of "attaching importance to cultural education and developing physical education".
After the opening ceremony, the men’s basketball team of NENU defeated that of the Ocean University of China with 80:62, winning the first victory. On April 30th, NENU lost to Shandong University of Science and Technology with 78:88.
