On April 24th, the first forum for Basic Education School Principals was held, which was hosted by NENU Alumni Association, undertaken by Dalian Fundamental Education Alumni Association and co-sponsored by Liaoning Normal University and Dalian NENU Alumni Association.
Focusing on the theme of curriculum reform of basic education, this forum aimed to explore the practical problems and solutions in the reform process, and to further clarify the future directions, providing first-hand reference for the next turn of curriculum reform as well as suggestions for talent cultivation in teacher's training colleges and universities. 41 middle-school presidents (NENU Alumni) from the three northeastern provinces attended the forum. Sheng Lianxi, Secretary of NENU's Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech. He hoped that the forum could indeed provide theoretical directions for the teaching practice of basic education and that the alumni could present valuable suggestions for NENU’s talent cultivation. During the forum, the participants had discussed relevant issues through keynote speeches and communications.
