On May 3rd, the School of Literature held the launching ceremony of “Traditional Culture Awareness Month” activities.
Since it became the pilot unit for cultural construction in schools and departments in 2012, the School of Literature has practiced the theme of “Revisiting Literary Classics, Preserving Cultural Heritage, Cultivating and Carrying Forward Spirits of College” in four ways, that is, re-reading classics, experiencing humanistic spirits, learning the history of school and singing school song and alma mater as well as promoting the reform of teaching content. The “Traditional Culture Awareness Month” activities are one working program for the school’s cultural construction, designed to guide students to preserve fine traditional culture and enhance humanity attainment. During the event, activities such as reading lectures of literary classics, exhibition of traditional culture, knowledge contest of traditional culture and theme party of traditional culture will be held.
