On May 6th, the fifteenth CUBA competition of northeast division undertaken by NENU came to a successful ending. After the fierce competition of 89 matches in 8 days, men’s basketball teams from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Hebei University of Engineering, Harbin University of Technology and women’s basketball teams from Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Shandong University of Science and Technology orderly obtained the top four places in men’s and women’s groups, thus successfully entering China’s top 16 teams.
The results of the top eight teams in the northeast division were announced at the closing ceremony. Honored guests presented certificates of award and champion gold rebound to men’s and women’s champion teams, both are from Peking University. Representatives of outstanding volunteers were also presented with certificates of honor.
