Recently,Publicity Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Culture, and the Literary Federation jointly decided to found the “College Literary and Artistic Creation Performances Union of Jilin Province”. NENU became one of the first council members of the Union with altogether 12 art groups of teachers and students involved.
The Union was founded mainly to better play to the advantage of artistic disciplines in colleges and universities, to coordinate literary and artistic resources, to promote the socialization process of college literature and arts, and to encourage influential works of art to step out of school and serve the society.
On May 8th, the press conference of “the Founding of College Literary and Artistic Creation Performances Union of Jilin Province” and “the First Show of Fine Literary and Artistic Works of Jilin Colleges and Universities” was held. It is reported that inauguration ceremony of the Union will be held on May 13th and the Show will be held from May 11th to June 2nd, wherein two splendid performances will be given by NENU.
