On May 13, Secretary of the Party Committee, Sheng Lianxi, accompanied by vice presidents Xue Kang and Zhao Xin, made an inspection tour to School of Computer Science and Information Technology and discussed with cadres, members of professor committee and some teachers. Secretary Sheng chaired the talk.
Participants made speeches on school's development, confronting problems and solutions. Xue Kang and Zhao Xin respectively made instructive comments and suggestions regarding their work. Secretary Sheng then gave his concluding remarks. He appreciated the achievements which have been achieved in the past three years since its integration, and he also highlighted the significance of top-level design, open-mindedness and breakthroughs in school's development, as well as initiative sprit and external supports. He also made three proposals: unique approach with own characteristics; right development direction and definite positioning; active involvement in services, as well as improving ability and meeting the local needs.
