On May 18th, the 2013 annual general meeting of Siyuan Foundation was held. Yang Xiaohui, vice-president of NENU, attended the opening ceremony and 60 students subsidized by Siyuan Foundation participated in it.
Siyuan scholarship and grants are established by Siyuan Foundation in Hong Kong, which aims to support outstanding impoverished students with their studies, so that they can serve the society in future. Since 2005, altogether 145 students of NENU have benefited from Siyuan Foundation, including 85 students who have successfully graduated. The annual general meeting is a unique way intended to help students to feel Siyuan spirits of "grateful for what you have and remember to return society". During the annual meeting, activities such as summary and planning for the Foundation, group activity of comprehensive competency development, talking about true feelings and delivering blessings were held.
