On September 23rd, President Yang Siwei of National Taichung University of Education, its dean, and director in International Communication Department (three in total) came to visit NENU. They were warmly welcomed by President Liu Yichun, Vice President Feng Jiang, and director of the Academic Affairs Office, director of School of Computer Science and Information Technology, and director of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao Affairs Office.
During the meeting, Liu Yichun extended a warm welcome to the guests' visit and introduced the fundamental situation of NENU's special majors and discipline construction, hoping that the two parties could enhance further cooperation and communication. Yang Siwei gave affirmative comments on the communicating activities since 2008 between the two universities, especially the Taiwan and mainland university students’ summer camp held by NENU. He also invited NENU students to participate in the summer camp held by NTUE.
