On September 27th, NENU held the commendation conference of the 2012 national outstanding doctoral dissertation. Leaders of NENU including Yang Xiaohui, Liu Yichun, Wang Yan, Zhang Junhui, Gao Ben and Han Dongyu attended the conference.
One doctoral dissertation of NENU was selected as the national outstanding dissertation, with two others being nominated in 2012. At the conference, supervisors of the three dissertations were awarded certificates and bonus, and Professor Wang Deli from School of Life Science gave a speech as a representative of the commended teachers. In the concluding speech, President Liu Yichun congratulated the doctoral students and their supervisors on their achievements. He also made suggestions on the development of doctoral students on the topic selection of thesis and interaction between teachers and students.
