Recently, the appraisal results of 2013 Key Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences Research by Ministry of Education have been published. NENU Rural Education Research Institute Professor Wu Zhihui's project "China's Compulsory Education Reform and Development System Research under the Urbanization" won the bidding. The key project aims to explore the collaborating relation between the compulsory education reform and the promotion of urbanization, to research the core values of balanced development of rural and urban compulsory education, to analyze inner performing system in urban-rural education integration, and to provide theoretical and feasible policies and suggestions for compulsory education development scheme across the country.
