Recently, results of the 2013 Social Science Development Report Project review of the Ministry of Education were announced, and the project “Development Report of Employment and Entrepreneurship for College Students in China” declared by Professor Yang Xiaohui was established as a cultivation one. Oriented by “Serving National Strategies and Satisfying Social Needs” and supported by database establishment through the promotion of collaborative innovation, the project carries out a counterbalance research into prominent and difficult problems in the field of employment and entrepreneurship for college students. In the meantime, based on the scientific analysis of the developmental status, the project attempts a scientific and objective prediction of the development tendency for future college students. A series of evelopment report and policy suggestions embodying application value and social impact were also put forward.
The approval of the project marks the advancement in capacity and standard in aspects such as the long-run tracking research, research characteristics and academic brand formulation, and consultative Think Tank that serves national and regional social and economic development, all of which are significant issues that closely grip the theme of the times, take root in social practice, converge research teams and focus on the socialist development with Chinese characteristics.
