Recently, the second leader unit election of China Renewable Resource
Academy Ocean Energy Committee has come to a close. NENU has become
Vice-director Unit of the committee. Professor Zhang Xueming from School of
Physics was elected Vice-director of the committee with a four-year tenure.
Affiliated to China Renewable Resource Academy, the Ocean Energy Committee
aims to promote the development and utilization of ocean energy, and reinforce
the relevant academic communication and talent exchange. At this election
conference, Harbin Engineering University, Ocean University of China, Northeast
Normal University and Zhejiang University were also elected Vice-director
Units. The 17 core members of the committee are responsible for the design and
assessment of the national key projects on ocean energy.
