Recently, Professor Guo Xiaoguang from Oil Painting Department, School of
Art, has been appointed as special researcher for the School of Art Creation,
China Art Institute, and he is now one the three domestic oil painting artists
invited by the School of Art Creation.
China Art Institute has been established for 56 years. It is the only
national-level comprehensive academic institute combining art scientific
research, art education, and art creation, and one of the earliest units that
grant doctoral and master degrees approved by the State Council. The School of
Art Creation just invite over 30 highly accomplished researchers including Yang
Huashan, Mu Huaixun, Zhu Legeng,and Gao Zhenyu, among which there are only
three oil painting artists.
