On December 7th and 8th, at the invitation of Hanban, President Liu Yichun attended the 8th Session of Confucius Institute Conference.
During the conference, President Liu Yichun met with principals of foreign universities that have collaborated with NENU in establishing Confucius Institute, as well as Chinese and foreign presidents of Confucius Institute. Related questions were discussed and opinions were exchanged.
Currently, NENU has established four Confucius Institutes and one Confucius Classroom. The four institutes include Korea University of East Asia, University of Valencia, Spain, University of Alaska Anchorage Campus, America, and Seneca College of Canada respectively. The Confucius Classroom is the Confucius Classroom of Mongolian National University of Education. Chinese-teaching and cultural lectures given by these institutes have played an important role in promoting interschool academic exchanges and the world’s understanding of China.
