Museum of Natural History Holds Polar Bear Photography Exhibitionby Photographer Chang Meng

On December 28th, the stories of mother and baby polar bears ------bear photography exhibition held by photographer Chang Meng was launched in NENU’S museum of natural history. The former vice-governor of Jilin Province Wei Minxue, vice-chairman of Chinese Photographers Society Lang Qi, vice presidents of NENU Zhang Zhiguo and Su Zhongmin attended the opening ceremony.

Altogether 238 works of polar bear photographed by Chang Meng will be exhibited for about three months. These photographs not only refresh people’s mind and purify their spirits, but also call on people to protect the environment and realize the harmonious and peaceful coexistence between humans and nature.Su Zhongmin gave a speech on behalf of NENU at the opening ceremony. He spoke highly of the role museum of natural history played in popularizing scientific knowledge, raising the public’s scientific awareness and making contributions to the development of regional cultural construction. In the meantime, he briefly introduced Chang Meng’s devotion to photography and the meaning and value of her works.
