The ninth Chinese claborate-style painting exhibition was held in National Art Museum of China recently. Bai Hua, teacher from the department of traditional Chinese painting, the School of Fine Arts, NENU, was the only painter academically nominated and invited to attend the exhibition in northeast China.
Held every three years, the Chinese claborate-style painting exhibition is a national and academic exhibition with the largest scale in the field of claborate-style painting. This year’s theme was “Claborate-style Painting in Contemporary Times”. Altogether 18 artists specially invited, 60 artists academically nominated and 68 artists who were selected in society took part in the exhibition. The participants basically covered the three generations of the old, the middle-aged and the young artists who were most active and most creative in the filed.
