Recently, the review of 2013 national education and science "the 12th Five-year Plan" planning projects came to a close, with 15 projects from NENU being approved and funded. Among the 15 projects, three are ordinary projects and four are youth projects of national social science fund of pedagogy, four are key projects and the other four are youth projects of ministry of education. The total amount of grants is 1.13 million RMB. The amount of project approval and expenditure saw an increase of 67% and 74% respectively, ranking second among national universities and colleges for the first time.
The projects approved cover eight subject areas of basic education, higher education, educational psychology, information technology in education, comparative education, educational economy and management, educational development strategy and moral education, fully manifesting NENU’s comprehensive level of scientific education research and school-running characteristics of serving basic education.
