NENU's First Group of "Pilot Project within Schools for University Teachers Development" Passes the Final Check

On March 12, NENU's teaching development center organized experts to give final assessment to the first group of “Pilot Project within schools for University Teachers Development”, and all the three projects involved were approved.

 

On the meeting, the project leader gave concluding reports. After listening to the reports, experts had exchanged views and  discussed with the project leaders on issues like project execution, long-term researches. After the reports, the expert group discussed on such issues as the project conduction, long-term research with relevant leaders. The major members of the second "Pilot Project within Schools for University Teachers Development" from School of Computer Science and Information Technology and School of Foreign Languages participated in this assessment meeting.

 

Keenly aware of the opportunity of enhancing higher-education quality and improving talent cultivation bestowed by “the Twelfth Five-year Plan”, NENU attaches much importance and sets up "Pilot Project within Schools for University Teachers Development". This project is focused on enhancing middle-aged and young teachers’ teaching ability. It aims to promote the academic strength and teaching competence of teachers by improving the development system. It has been conducted for two terms, with altogether seven schools involved.
