Recently, CASHL has held a special meeting to award the 2013 Excellent Service Organization, and NENU is awarded "the First Prize of CASHL Excellent Service". NENU is the only "211 Project" University that has received this award.
CASHL is led by the Education Department, and provides document insurance system for university philosophy and social science teaching. It is the only national document collection and service center of humanity social sciences, aiming to provide integrated document information services for nationwide universities, philosophy and social sciences organizations and researches.
NENU is one of the national discipline centers established by CASHL, in charge of regulating and collecting electronic resources and special resources according to discipline characteristics, providing data of NENU's social sciences journals in foreign languages, maintaining local document delivery service system, and conducting such services as training, promotion and providing original text as well as relevant assessment coordinating with the national center and regional center.
