Recently professor Xiong Wencheng (University of Georgia) from the School of Life Sciences and professor He Hongshi ( University of Missouri) from School of Geography have been selected into the 10th group of the Recruitment Program of Global Experts. This is the 1st time that NENU has won the honor in the introduction of overseas high-level talents.
The Recruitment Program of Global Experts is promoted by the Organization Department of the CPC, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and other ministries under the guidance of the Coordination Group of Talents. It is a program for talents introduction and training which starts at the end of 2008 and it is the highest level of overseas talents introduction program.
Since its launching, NENU has been paying tremendous attention to the Recruitment Program of Global Experts and has been engaging itself in the implementation of the program. NENU finally made a breakthrough in the 10th group of the program, which symbolizes that NENU makes significant progress in the construction of high-level talents.
