On March 5th, the latest statistical results of ESI papers were issued by U.S. Institution of Science and Information (ISI). It shows that NENU ranks NO.1 in average citation number and NO.33 in total citation number among national colleges and universities.
The ESI ranking data is updated every two months. Since the "the Twelfth Five-Year ", NENU has won the first place for many times in the previous ranking. It shows that NENU’s automatic innovation ability of scientific research, basic research level and international academic influence have been rising constantly.
ESI (Essential Science Indicators) is launched by ISI, the world-renowned publishing organization of academic information. As a basic scientific analysis and evaluation tool, which measures scientific research performance and tracks scientific development trend, ESI is an important indicator to evaluate the international academic level and influence level of universities and scientific research institutions worldwide. In recent years, it is listed as one of the basic indicators by the national education authorities to evaluate the school capacity and innovation capacity of scientific research.
