Recently, the preliminary meeting of cross-strait college teaching development alliance is held in Shanghai University of Communications. As one of the initiative organizations, Teachers and Teaching Development Centre of NENU sends delegates to attend the meeting.
The preliminary meeting discusses over issues of alliance statute, institutional framework and the enforcing of affairs. It is decided that founding conference, also the first annual meeting, will be held in November this year. Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, National Taiwan University, Tsinghua University, Beijing University and other 15 universities have all sent delegates to attend the meeting. All other mainland universities are "985" colleges except for NENU.
