On April 18th, Dr. Chen Mingfei, vice-president of National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) and his fellow colleagues visited NENU. They were warmly welcomed by NENU's president Liu Yichun and personnel in charge of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan affairs.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the achievements since the establishment of intercollegiate cooperation relationship in 2007. They also introduced the latest development of the two universities, and discussed the prospects for more in-depth cooperation concerning teachers and students exchanges. Dr. Chen also had an informal discussion with NENU students studying in NCUE. He asked about their learning experiences, and extended his welcome to more NENU students.
In 2007, NENU signed a memorandum of academic exchanges cooperation with NCUE. Up to now, NENU has sent a total of 55 students there, and has received 87 of NCUE’s students to participate in "Cross-straits College Students Summer Camp" activities held in NENU.
