On May 15th, the faculties of University of Regina led by its president Dr.Vianne Timmons,, visited NENU. Feng Jiang, Vice-President, and Gao Hang, Dean of the Graduate School, received the guests.
In 2004, NENU signed the friendly corporation agreement with University of Regina. During this visit, the two parties discussed over the possibility of deepening cooperation on student exchange and teachers’ mutual visits and reached a preliminary consensus. After that, on the basis of renewing the previous agreement Dr.Vianne Timmons and Feng Jiang signed a new agreement on the reciprocal remission of tuition for exchange undergraduate students between the two universities. During their visit, Dr. Vianne Timmons also had a campus visit in NENU.
