Recently, CSST published the article "Initiation and Innovation for Thirty Years with Brilliant Achievement, China's Research in the History of Ancient Civilization Keeping Going Foreword", which reviewed the general development of researches in the history of ancient civilization, highlighting NENU's leading position in the history of ancient civilization research.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of IHAC, which in the past 30 years has cultivated a considerable number of talents in the history of ancient civilization research. In the past half a year, CSST has been giving constant attention to IHAC’s achievement. On January 22, 2014, it published "Lin Zhichun: Initiation and Innovation in the History of Ancient Civilization", generally introducing the master Lin Zhichun’s a hundred years' life, academic turning and his contribution to disciplinary construction. On February10, CSST also published the article "Inscription Research Widens the Research horizon in the History of Ancient Civilization", giving introduction to the significance of its materials, and affirming the researchers' method of using the first-hand reference. On March 10, it also presented the old photo of IHAC's students and scholars in 1990s and introduced some excellent scholars who graduated form IHAC.
