After strict selection by the Organization Committee of the fourth International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability, Liu Qi, an undergraduate of grade 2011 from School of Environment and Wang Xiaohong, a postgraduate of grade 2011 from the same school attained the qualification to attend the conference. The thesis Study on the Problems in Ecological Environment of Agricultural Greenhouses and on Circular Economy Pattern written by Gu Yongbo, an undergraduate of grade 2011, wins the “Green Future Award”. The three students will attend the opening ceremony of the conference on World Environment Day (on June 5th).
Supported and funded by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Tongji University and Beijing Green Future Environmental Foundation and organized by United Nations Environment Programme ---Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development the “International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability (ISCES)” attracts around 400 students from more than 40 countries every year. The “Green Future Award” is set up for the students in environment major and related majors by the Organization Committee. Twenty related researches or theses are chosen to give special awards.
