Recently, the results of 2013 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation and the Nomination of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation have been released by the Ministry of Education and the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. Two dissertations from NENU won the nomination of excellent doctoral dissertation. They are Applications of Spectral Analysis of Large Dimensional Random Matrices in Multivariate Statistical Analysis, written by Jiang Dandan from School of Mathematics and Statistics, and instructed by Professor Bai Zhidong; Transition-Metal-Catalyzed C-H Bond Functionalization Reactions Using F+ as Oxidant, written by Xiong Tao from School of Chemistry, and instructed by Professor Zhang Qian.
So far, there are altogether 7 dissertations that are awarded National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation, and 17 that are nominated for National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation from NENU.
