Recently, the foreign academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and America's National Academy of Engineering, Professor John C. Crittenden visited NENU at the invitation of School of Environment. Vice President Feng Jiang met John C. Crittenden and issued the letter of appointment to him. The heads of relevant institutions, such as International Cooperation and Exchange Department and School of Environment attended the appointment ceremony.
During his visit, John Crittenden made a report for the teachers and students. After the report, he visited Engineering Technology Research Center of Provincial City Sewage Treatment and Water Quality Security, and also Water Reuse Project of No. 3 dormitory building in our school. He gave full affirmation to the current research results of School of Environment, and proposed deepening cooperation in sewage treatment technology applications.
This academic visit of Crittenden not only promotes the communication between foreign advanced scientific research institutions and School of Environment in the field of water treatment technology, but also lays a good foundation for future cooperation in academic exchange, personnel training and international communication.
