On September 14th the director of historiography division in editorial office of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CSSN) and the associate editor of Historical Research Zhou Qun, the chief of Jilin bureau for Chinese Social Sciences Weekly Zeng Jiang and the correspondent Hao Xin visited NENU. An informal discussion was held. The scholars and experts from School of History and Culture, Center of East-Asian Civilizations, School of Marxism and School of Political Science and Law and the Vice-president of NENU Han Dongyu attended the discussion.
At the discussion Zhou Qun gave a brief introduction to the development of “one newspaper, six journals and one net” of editorial office of CSSN and elaborated on the idea, content, publication standard, requirements for contributions and process of compilation manuscript of Historical Research. Zhou Qun spoke highly of the contributions to the development of Chinese academy made by departments in NENU related to history and hoped to strengthen the overall communication and cooperation. Han Dongyu suggested that the communication and cooperation between the scholars and experts in humanities and social science fields of NENU would be enhanced and NENU would worked together with the editorial office to flourish Chinese humanities and social science.
