In order to guide the construction of university teachers’ ethnics, and to promote university teachers’ ethnics construction onto a standard, systematic and legal path, following the rule of university teachers’ ethnics construction, on October 9th the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on the Establishment of Long-Term Mechanism For University Teachers’ Ethnics (hereinafter referred as Opinions), which was made under the leading of NENU. The Opinions aims at solving the problems in university teachers’ ethnics and cultivating university teachers’ ethnics for virtuousness. On October 10th China Education Daily elaborated the Opinions on its front page. Department of Teacher Education in the Ministry of Education answered reporters’ questions on the study and the composition of the document and highly affirmed the important work of NENU in the issuance of the Opinions.
