Recently, organized by Water Management Office of National Department of Environmental Protection, led by NENU and participated jointly by Ecoenvironment Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Process Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Technology and others, "Technology Research and Comprehensive Demonstration of Water Pollution Integrative Treatment and Water Quality Improvement in Yinma River Basin" project won the approval of Major National Science and Technology Projects. This is the first time for NENU to take the lead in getting the approval of Major National Science and Technology Projects. The project leader is Professor Feng Jiang from College of Environment, the total project budget is 117.5185 million yuan and the executive duration is from 2014 to 2016.
