The “Third Cross-Strait Seminar for Handing-Down and Protection of Ancient Books” was held in Taipei City, hosted by Taiwan Association for Protection of Ancient Books and co-hosted by the Institute for Literature and Philosophy of Taiwan “Academia Sinica”, on November 3rd 2014 and November 4th 2014. Professor Li Deshan and Cao Shujie from Institute for Collation of Ancient Books were invited to attend the seminar. In the speech on November 3rd 2014 Cao Shujie gave a report entitled as “Thirty Years of Collation and Study for Ancient Books in the Institute for Collation of Ancient Books of NENU”, comprehensively introducing the collation and study for ancient books, discipline construction, talent cultivation and so on in NENU. Professor Li Deshan chaired the meeting held in the afternoon of November 4th. The scholars from the mainland and Taiwan paid high attention to the achievements in collation and study of ancient books of NENU through academic exchange.
