Recently, the National Social Science Planning Office published the assessment results of the second batch projects of translation of Chinese academics in 2014. "Politics of Confucius and Mencius � ‘Analects’ ‘ Seven Articles of Mencius’" proposed by Professor Li Xiaodong from the Institute of History of the World Classical Civilization in NENU was approved and was funded 350,000 yuan. It is the first time NENU gets the funding from this project, which is one of the major types of the National Social Science Fund, supporting the publication of outstanding achievements in the field of philosophy and social science research in the authoritative foreign publishers, aiming to enter the foreign mainstream channels, to enhance foreigners’ understanding of contemporary China, Chinese philosophy, social sciences and traditional culture, to promote academic exchanges and dialogues between China and other countries, and to improve the international influence of Chinese philosophy and social sciences.
